Chrysa Pantazi asked for some Noise Promotion Company and I can asure you, its very difficult to find informations about them.
In 1984 a new band appeared in Thessaloniki.
The name of the band was Noise Promotion Company and for the next few years will be established as one
of the best live acts of the town.
Their line up was Alex Apostolakis – drums, George “Banduk” Apostolakis – vocals and guitar (he played xylophone too later)
and Thodoros Kondouris – bass.
Playing mainly a mixture of post punk and art rock with some funk elements, they were always experimenting on stage
trying to explore new styles and sounds.
Their first album, “Silence” was released in 1986.

Silence – tracklisting
Side A
1. Flrence
2. Winter
3. Health
4. Green Grains
Side B
1. Bad Taste
2. After Hours
3. Mercury Sulphate Blues
4. Move on up (Curtis Mayfield)
It was followed by their next album “Catalog” in 1989:

Catalog – tracklisting
Page One: Four Hundred Flags
Page Two: Fanny Mays
Page Three: Friends
Page Four: Marnie
Page Five: I Wanna be Nothing
Page Six: Walking Bomb
Page Seven: Something Wrong
Page Eight: Melt in the Crowd
Like most of the Greek bands, they remained a hidden treasure for years.
The band split after these two albums and later, George “Banduk” toured and recorded with the blues band
Blues Wire.
