Birth, death and…Vice Versa

vice versaBass player Thanasis Paraskevopoulos and guitar player Costas Tselenis were initialy members of the punk rock band Polution in 1981.
They worked later with the drummer of the
bands Ex Humans and Yell O Yell Andreas Ferdiakakis.

They formed the band Vice Versa in 1991 recruiting the singer Mary Kantarelou and drummer Nikos Souliotis,
to play alternative hard rock.
The had a lot gigs in Athens and played twice in Thessaloniki.

Their track “Birth to Death” was featured in a compilation released by Rock FM radio station, titled “Diving” that soon
became an underground radio hit.

“Birth to Death”  was almost a hardcore punk song that gave them a lot of exposure thanks to the heavy rotation.

They also participated in an other compilation, released by radio Utopia-Thessaloniki with their track “The Furies“.

They released the 7” single “The Furies / Night Scream” in 1994 but didn’t manage to reach the success of  “Birth to Death” .
