Midlands Goth Festival is a new festival based in Birmingham UK.
It is organised by a Community Interest Company, Dark Heart Events, which was formed to provide and support events for the alternative community across the midlands. Through these events they aim to promote and develop artist talent within the alternative community, enhance the public perception of all things ‘goth, fight intolerance and injustice and maybe, just maybe have a little fun along the way. The company was formed in 2011 and is run by a comittee comprising members of the midlands alternative community, all of whom give their time for free.
