Grice releases 3rd album ‘One Thousand Birds’

One Thousand Birds by GRICE is released following a number of intense recording and mixing sessions at Forward Studios in Rome.

The 13-track album release day was marked on 22 March with a playback event hosted by Bang & Olufsen, which showcased the music and imagery in all its glory in high resolution through the B & O Beolab 50 sound system.

The album features a guest appearance by Richard Barbieri on the title track who lends his unique sonority along with field recordings made in France by Richard during a past Rain Tree Crow recording session.

GRICE works again with violinist Steve Bingham (No-Man), Luca Calabrese and Al Swainger alongside a unique murmuration of musicians (introducing the talented Eliza Carew and Andrew Ehresmann).

GRICE will be releasing a number of ‘behind the scenes’ film trailers featuring recording sessions at Forward Studios on his Youtube channel. Here is a taster: The Making of Hardest to Reach
